Hey all! I have been lurking around for a while. Great forums. Lots to learn.

I'm on my 3rd blackberry. My first one, 7100, died a tragic death when I wheeled the Rubicon trail in cali. I got a pearl in early Oct and killed it in the washing machine by mid Nov. My second pearl, currently, is working great.

I'm no techie by any means. I do hardcore 4x4 fabrication and build race trucks. A lot of the technical stuff here is way over my head. I'm learning though.

Welcome. Check your shirts and pants....or just make sure you have your Pearl in a safe haven when washing. Story almost brought a tear to my eye. Almost had to call DFABS on you for blackberry neglect.

That's the problem. My old lady does all my laundry. The one time I do a load, the phone goes through the spin cycle. Oh well, the screen was all scratched up anyway.
