Hi I just for the pearl through T-mobile.

When I hit a key on the key board, it starts searching for contacts with names with that letter. And at the top of that screen it shows a line saying "My Number: XXXXXXX"

When I hit the menu button, it brings up the screen where I can go into the general options, and turn on and off Show "My Number", I toggled that a few time among other things, every time I turn it on, it adds 2 lines of "My Number:XXXXXXX", and when i turn it off, it only removes one line. So now I have 4 lines of "My Number: XXXXXXX". The biggest problem is that I can't see the bottom of the screen any more now, because these 4 lines of "My Number:XXXXX" pushed everything else down. The important info I miss at the bottom of the screen is the list of contacts that matches the button I just pushed.

I see the same problem when I just go into Call Log.

Any idea why it's doing this?

Pulled the battery, now it's back to normal.
