Will the 7780 work with one of these? If not, any development being done to support this model?

Chris

2 questions:

1)Anyone know how hard these are to install?

2) With the external antenna connection & antenna can you connect in a house?

GOOD NEWS: THB makes a 7700 Cradle

BAD NEWS: US Distributor doesn't carry it.

1> No more difficult than any other Car Kit (Ground, Power constant, Power ignition, antenna cable run)

2>Folks have put car kits in their houses you would need a 12v powersupply for it - big question... Why?

I'm thinking of placing the antenna in an attic window & putting the base in my office. This coupled with bluetooth headset should improve my reception tremendously. At least I'm hopefull....

The current cradle design doesn't favor it... but If you unscrewqed the antenna it might work? The ones we had have all been shipped... we have more coming so I will pull on eout to see if that "hack" could work. Though the 7520 is BT so that would be another way to go. For example:

plus

and you have a kit.
