installing 3rd party .cod file for push ability on bes?

Ok I am new to 3rd party apps. We currently dont use any.
I have gotten the Google maps .cod file and want to be able to push this to certain BB's on the bes.
From readin i saw i needed to add a folder under prog files/common files/research in motion/shared/applications/ <name of app> (placed .cod file in here)
I then shared the reasearch in motion folder.
Then in BB handheld config tool I added a new configuration. pointed to the shared location. Added 1 user to that configuration.
What do i do now?
