Question Sync issue

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All

I have an issue with my Blackberry and syncs... calendar, contacts.

I use a BES and Outlook 2003. The problems seems to have occured since we moved to a new Outlook exchange server but I have been advised that this shouldnt have affected it.

I followed the steps in another thread 'Problems syncing with outlook' and created a new mail profile, deleted the Research in motion folder in documents and settings and although it synced all my contacts again I now have a duplicate of everything...

Any suggestions please?

delete the duplicates. You have BES, can't your IT department help you? There are 'outlook duplicate removal' programs out there.

Try this old trick:
  • Export your entire Outlook Mailbox to a PST file (file->import/export). Be sure to select the whole mailbox and include subfolders.
  • Import the same PST file you just exported. It will prompt you what you want to do with duplicates (i.e. keep, REMOVE, and something else)

This will get rid of the dupes. It has worked for me in the past.

Ciao.
