Please Login to Remove!

Hi, i do not have an unlimited data plan so wifi is great for me.
my question is how do i know which app uses the wifi connection vs. the edge data connection? example i know the "wifi browser" uses wifi obviously, but what about BB yahoo messenger? and the various apps out there.
thanks.

Disable radio when you have WiFi coverage and try all applications you curious about.

when using opera mini 4 beta 3, can you specify which connection to use?

under options>advanced options>browser>default browser, i select wi-fi browser, but does that apply to opera and downloaded google maps/gmail apps also?

btw, can you tell me if the following is correct?
- blackberry browser : uses bes to connect
- internet browser : uses bis to connect
- tzones : uses wap to connect
- wifi browser : uses wifi to connect

thanks.
