Spoke with T-Mobile Tech support yesterday with regards to poor telephone quality on my new Pearl...a lot of static and very little signal.
They had me switch SIM cards with my Razr and the Static was still on the 8100 and none on the Razr. So it was the phone not the SIM.
It came today.....they sent it overnight...that surprised me that they would do that.
New 8100 is 1 bar better than the last one.....It tries to get to and stay at 3 bars but hangs out at 2 bars. No static as of now.....
Bottom line....this is a much better Pearl and the sound quality is good....so there is a difference between each Blackberry 8100...but since I use this for Business and the Razr for personal I wish the 8100 had a much stronger signal.
