I am looking for a way to have a simple note pop up...then snooze it for say 1 hour and have it pop up again..... this note will remind me to do the things that are important to me...like "drink water" "call a friend" etc...

Welcome to the BBForums.

Use you calendar for ALL of those needs. Set the event, set the reminder. It will provide you a reminder for ten minutes, I think is the default.

There are many many many other task and reminder applications. Look in our Aftermarket Software section here for "task" and "reminder" or even "to do".

tried that...the problem is that you cannot snooze it so yoiu have to keep resetting the darn alarm to push it out

Check the Aftermarket Software section. There SO many task apps you will go crazy trying them all out.

Check out Alert Matrix by REXwireless. Their stuff isn't cheap, but it's the best IMHO.

There was one very simple goofy app a few months ago which gave you a popup reminder, on the hour, every hour. For no reason, just to remind people that needed an hourly reminder for something--like to drink water.
