Yesterday, I updated my BB to 5.0.0.591 - after installing this, my Lotus Sametime Client disappeared from my Desktop Folder. I connected to Desktop manager, and was getting an error message stating that Lotus Sametime was incompatible.. Upon further investigation, I noticed that the Application was still in my Options folder.

To make sametime work:
I deleted the application from the Options Folder -> Apllications
I removed all the language packs that I did not require from the Sametime 2.5.20 folder
connected to the BB Desktop Manager did an Add application, and everything is working now.

May want to re-run the App loader.

I ran into a similar issue after doing an OTA upgrade from Sprint. I had to re-install the OS over the wire.

I honestly would not bother using a beta OS at work. Would just cause unneeded issues similar to this.
