Default Duplicate Entry in Calendar

Please Login to Remove!

My Boss' BB 8100, with BES. Without any action, he found a message called "Activation Completed". BES admin could find any activation message on BES notes server log. And after that, all the exisiting entries in Calendar became duplicated.
Calendar on notes is OK.
I have tried remove battery to reboot the device, not working.
Anyone know what happened, and is there any way to resolve it besides WIPE and re-Activation the device?
And due to IT policy it is not allowed to backup/restore the third party application such as Password Keeper, so re-Activation means user need manually key in all the information. So is there anyway to passby, so user dunt have to manually key in the information like Password Keeper?

you can wipe your device using JL_Cmder and reload the device software

that should fix it

download the software from your carriers BIS website

You can disable wireless synchronization for the calendar on the blackberry. Then connect it to the computer, run Desktop Manager and open Backup/Restore. Click on Advanced. Click on the Calendar on the right side of the screen and then click on Clear. This will clear the calendar from the Blackberry. Now enable the wireless synchronization on the blackberry calendar. This should reload the calendar from the BES. Your duplicates should now be gone.

We have seen the Activation Complete message come up when the blackberry is plugged into the computer and Desktop Manager is opened. This will sometimes start an EA on the blackberry. I have opened a case with RIM but they never solved the problem. Now the user has a new computer and new blackberry and we haven't seen the problem again.
