I am on the Verizon network and would like to add my voicemail password and required pauses to my voicemail speed dial, so I can go directly to my voicemail without pressing additional buttons. Any advice on how to do this on the 8830?

Go to the phone application and press menu->options->voicemail->Password.

In your speed dial press B to insert a W (Wait) and N to insert a P (Pause) in the phone # field. Take a look in my signature at Stinsonddog's tips; tons of information available to you.

I cannot figure this out, can you help with more detail/steps?

Click the "Green Phone", then press "Menu" button, then select "Options". Select Voice Mail, then under password, press the menu button, and insert "Pause" then type in your Voice mail passcode.

this is the correct way to do it, except on my 8830 hitting "menu" at this point doesn't bring up any option to "insert pause," instead I have to just use the keyboard shortcut of hitting "n" to insert a pause (and if you are curious, "b" inserts a "wait).
