switched from bold to 9700. Anyone else notice that the screen (white areas) on the 9700 has a tanish/yellowish tint to it as opposed to the Bold which is bright white?

First of all, both the 9000 and 9700 are Bolds.....

and no, I do not notice a tanish/yellowish tint whats so ever

Yep.....it's not really noticable until you hold it up to the 9000. Some say it helps with battery life. Most 9700 owners in the forums have noticed this however some claim to still have bright white screens. I have compared many units in the AT&T stores and all have a yellowish or creamy white tint.
