Is there a way to upload a text file on my PC to the memo pad on my BB?

Everyway I've tried through the Desktop Manager gives me the following error.

Unable to initialize application API.
Verify that correct application version is installed.

Make a new Memo in your synchronized email program (for example, under Notes in Outlook). Then the next time you sync your PIM, it will put it on your BB.

Do you have any notes on your BB? I have run into sync issues that are resolved just by adding an entry to the field that does not sync properly.
