I have a custom datefield in my applicaiton.

public class bbhDateField extends DateField

This was created so that the user could either set the date to "Now" or add time increments of 15,20,30 minutes. While doing this the "Change Option" item in the Context Menu disappeared.

protected void makeContextMenu(ContextMenu contextMenu) 
{
   if(super.isEditable())
   {
      contextMenu.addItem(addNow);
   }
}

The "Change Option" makes the individual fields in the DateTime field work like a option field where you can scroll thru the numbered values. Does anyone have any clue on how to get that back?

I don't need the copy and paste feature in the DateTime field. Not sure why that is even in there.

Not sure if this will work, but can you call super.makeContextMenu from within your makeContextMenu?

Also, if you haven't already discovered, you can switch to edit mode in an editable field by holding the 'shift' key (bottom-left on the 7290 keyboard).
