Default Bold Os

Please Login to Remove!

Hi. I'm new here and also new to blackberry on the whole. Owning a blackberry Bold 9000 for about two weeks now and still getting accustom to it.

I've been seeing threads about OS updates but I'm a little confused.

When I go to "About" on my phone, I see v4.6.0.247 (Platform 4.0.0.206)

Where can I get the latest OS update for my phone? I saw two links on the forums but they are two different versions.

Can someone just be kind to post a link for me please? I am not from the U.S so I am not on AT&T or verizon etc etc.

Thanks in advance

If you have only had your device for a couple weeks, how do you know that it is broken and needs a new OS to fix it?

My advice is that if it is working as you need it to and there are no issues, then it doesn't need to be "fixed". Get to know the device first. See what it can and cannot do for you. You might find that all is well with how it is out of the box.

OS updates can change things. Read the posts.
