Hello,

I had a 8330 and I used DM to perform a full backup. I would like to restore my BBM contacts and Address book on the new 8530. How do I go about this operation using the restore option in DM?

Connect your device to your PC, launch DM, select Backup/Restore, select Restore, locate the .ipd file you want to restore and click Next.

Thanks for your prompt response. Some items were "greyed" out so I deleted my Desktop SYNC service book, restored, then undeleted the service book.

When I log onto BBM all of my contacts are missing. How do I restore my BBM contact list?
