I applied the DST patch to my 8700v (Vodafone) and the BB asked for a reboot. Now after reboot I see only the sand glass for more than six hours!

I removed the battery and tried starting the Blackberry - same result, only sand glass on display for now about 3 hours again.

Any idea what I can do to get this device running again?

I had to shut my 8700c down and remove the battery three different times to get it to boot up (same issue hour glass wouldn't go away). When it finally did it took a few minutes to fully boot.

It shouldn't take 3-6 hours though....
