Default New user (Verizon 8830) Question

Please Login to Remove!

How can I know that I have closed an application as oppossed to just sending it to the background. If I just use the escape key am I closing the application or should I use "close" everytime.

THANKS!
By the way I did check the FAQ and didn't see an answer.

Press the Alt key and the escape key at the same time and it will show you what applications you currently have running. It is always best to use the close option IMO.

Thanks, I used your tip and I was surprised to find the number of applications that were open and running.

Yeah, be careful of that, that could drain your memory and/or battery rather quickly depending on the applications you have running.

Hey, no matter how many times I go into bb messenger, call log and browser and click close, when I press alt and escape key it still shows those programs as running.

Any suggestions?

The home screen, BB messenger, Call log, BB Browser, and messages will show there.
