I have a BB Curve, the original version 8300 (I think), anyways, the stupid rollerball feel out, etc., etc. I finally have my provider agreeing to do a switch out...However, I downloaded Skype IM & a Google map thingie, and like one ringtone.. I'm not sure if the provider will consider that 3rd party software and void my warranty....

SO, I want to WIPE IT CLEAN (I'm not going to miss much on it - and I'm willing to 'start over'), but I want to make sure there is no trace of my stuff on it or the measely 2 programs I downloaded.

HELP??!!

Do a search under "wipe handheld"

It will describe the process.

You can do a security wipe by going into options > security options > general setting > press the menu button and then selecting wipe handheld.

However, that will only remove the data from your device. To remove the 3rd party applications, go to options > advanced options > applications, scroll to the application, press the menu key and select delete.
