I just bought the curve last week. Had the 7290 the 8700 and saw something last night I've never seen. I got an email and before I open it up it had a red exclamation point on the email. I've been getting emails on the curve for about a week and this is the first time I've seen this. Oh the email was sent from a windows mobile 6 phone. Any ideas?

All of my old messages were marked with the exclamation point...even the SMSs. I just started seeing in 2 weeks ago.

Oh so the person sending them can add that. Ok. Was this something that was added in the BIS upgrade two weeks ago?

Yes it puts the same red exclamation poing next to the email.

...and in my experience such email is rarely high priority.
