I am having this odd little problem with only ONE double-cd addition to my media file collection. All of my other CD rips have been fine. (just for the sake of full disclosure, the CD in question is Yngwie Malmsteen - Double Live)

I will try to describe this as best I can:

The Media Player Album View looks like this:

Double Live (Disc 1)

But when you click on it to view the tracks, it looks like this:

Double Live (Disc 2)

01 Gates of Babylon*
01 My Resurrection
02 Alone In Paradise*
02 Facing The Animal
03 Pictures of Home*
03 Rising Force

And so on,and so on...

The tracks with asterisks are actually supposed to be on Disc 2. The tracks without the asterisk are Disc 1 tracks and are supposed to be there.

The album view for Disc 2 is as it should be. It is only Disc 1 that I'm seeing this trouble with. And only on THIS particular CD. All of the many other songs and albums I've ripped are as they should be, as well.

I am very careful with my album & track titling in iTunes and I make absolute certain that the distinctions between Disc 1 and Disc 2 are very clear. I've even tried re-ripping them, and it still happens.

I am at a loss to understand this.

Has anybody else seen it happen?

Addition: I have ripped several "box set" CD collections consisting of 4, even 5 CD's, and everything has worked fine. It's just with this one Yngwie double CD album I'm having trouble with.

Problem solved.

I changed my album-naming convention from:

Double Live (Disc 1), to

Double Live - Disc 2

And it seems to have solved the problem
