I just installed vmware after erasing my bootcamp drive, hoping to make it larger. Bootcamp assistant couldn't create a new larger partition, so I opted to run vmware virtually.
Everything went ok, including the installl of 4.5.0.93 for my Curve 8320. But the 4.5 installshieldwizard is frozen on the vmware xp. I can't cancel, if I suspend vmware it comes back, and I can't restart or shut down Windows. I can't shut down the Mac because vmware won't quit, and I just came back from the dentist and my face is numb.
A little help would be appreciated.
edit: I did a (not recommended) shutdown by holding the power button on my iMac. Even force quit wouldn't work. Vmware seems very nice though. So long bootcamp.

Always remember that VMware is emulating a whole PC. So if you are in your VM everything acts like a normal PC. This also applies to Windows which wants to be restarted from time to time
