hello, iwant to update the os of my 8310. i do not own this bbery as it is company owned and its running on both BES and BIS. will my BES administrator see this and, furthermore, will the update require a reactivation or any kind of intervention on their part? many thanks in advance for your attention, bregards David

Do the install from your corportate workstation. When the update occur is should re-register itself. If you update it at home, you will have to re-activate it. I've updated 10+ times from my workstation with out having to bother our worthless bes guys.

I just upgraded my Corp 8310 and I had to call the support group for BES reactivation. They cannot tell that you upgraded unless you say something. I just said that for some reason I lost the activation (which I heard does happen to some people). They gave me a new activation password and I was up and running in a few minutes.
