Smile Why I love this forum, and an apology...

Please Login to Remove!

My apology first:

If we divide the userbase of this fine forum loosely into categories of 'Takers' and 'Givers', I would ashamedly fall into the former category. That's not to say that I am by nature a leech on society, it's more an acknowledgement that when it comes to technology, I am inept.

I unreservedly apologise for the gross imbalance of what I contribute versus what I take. If I understood how the godsent Blackberry worked at a technical level, I would gladly help others less fortunate than myself, but alas, those with less knowledge than myself consist only of earthworms and other sub-human entities, none of which own Blackberries.

So, having hopefully explained the reason for my own parasitic relationship with this community, I would like to move on to applaud it.

You guys are amazing. You don't know me (or probably any of the other idiots that come on here with their moronic questions), and yet unfailingly, you take time from your lives to help. No question is too big or too small; it all gets resolved.

THANKYOU.

So, fellow Takers, I think it's about time the Givers were given their dues for what they do for us....let this be a thread to celebrate and recognise their value. If you agree with this sentiment, the place to thank other users is here! Let the gratitude flow!

Knowledge is like a bank account: the more you put in, the more you have to share later.

Stick around-you'll be a "giver" faster than you think!

Wirelessly posted

There is no need for an apology and no need for thanks. We all help out eachother. No matter how moronic your question may be, it still gets answered and that helps those who view the outcome. We are all here for our love of these wonderful devices. We all help in different ways. We should be thanking people like you who help contribute and keep this place alive.

Agree, this is a great community. I am trying to be more active now, and "give" when I can.

Ive found that most people in this forum just love giving advice, and Honestly I kinda think of someone slamming refresh ready at a moments notice to help out with blackberry questions, It gives me a warm feeling inside.
