First if you are now using the Storm please update your profile it shows 9000.

There is a bug with getting EDGE on an unlocked Storm. Have you rebooted a few times? I will assume you have a BlackBerry data plan with T-Mobile and that you have manually installed the generic Browser service books?

you need to go to my tmobile page, select switch device and enter your pin. it must register or nothing will work, email, web. it might not take the imei# but keep trying the pin. that should do it

This is an issue that I have been having with my Storm on ATT (i posted it in the beta you then me section). Im trying the newest beta OS to see if it makes a different. In the beginning it seems that it hasnt but I find now, after many reboots, that if i dont answer the "automatically connect to GSM or CDMA" question right away, I get EDGE more often. Doesnt make sense but ill keep you posted if I find anything.

While Horizon (our forum sponser) still hasn't gotten an unlock code for mine I have noticed that the Mobile Network settings seem to default to both the 3g and 2g setting rather than the 2g only I choose...it does this only after the device being turned off or a battery pull.

@ Pinhead, i am truly sorry for the delay, we are working on it, and almost losing sleep and our hair. We will have it soon. To the OP, did you try this? JSanders sent this to me, and it worked like a charm http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ml#post1194806
