I am having the same exack problem in my environment. Windows 2k3 SP2, BES 4.0 SP5a, Exchange 2k3. I have been working with RIM on this for 3 months now and we have not been able to find out a reason as to why this is happening. Another friend of mine, a BB admin on another network in my org, is having the same problem too. The latest attempt to resolve was to fix the CDO.dll registration which you outlined above. The same exact things you are experiencing is what i am experiencing as well, itadminserver.exe goes up to 1.8 gigs of memory at times and does not release it, or the BB agents hog up all the memory. I wish i had a fix to tell you about. RIM and I are continuing to work the issue, our next step is to do an exhaustive look at the itadminserver.exe process to see why it is behaving this way. i will post here again with new information. as well, please update the post yourself if you find anything!
