Default Enterprise Activation - Very Slow

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I am trying to do an Enterprise Activation on a blackberry 7230. It just sits there trying but never completes.

I have done Enterprise Activation many times before and it normally completes in about 20 mins.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks
J.

Does the user have large mail file? how about a large number of contacts?

I have had activations take over an hour before

Unfortunatley no. The user is new and has only a handful of emails.

Try these...

Delete the user and re-add them (use DBclean.exe on their workstation as well)

If that doesn't work try deleting the service books and re-sending them.

Check your BES logs to see if there are any errors.

We have been seeing the same thing lately. Enterprise activations take hours to get working.

Hmmm.... I wonder if the problem is at RIM?

We had a problem with one and messed with it for a couple of days. I believe that our Administrator rebooted the BES and all was well.
