No it will not. Just be 100% certain that you are using Wifi. Mobile Network = off.

you do not need to turn off the mobile network. when you have wifi turned on and you open the browser you should see the wifi symbol in the top right hand corner. that tells you that you use your wifi and not the mobile network.

Is it as simple as turning on wifi and connecting to your router? I can only get O2 in my area but work only have accounts with T-Mobile so if I go home and turn on the wifi, it will pick up data?

If it's a work phone and you are on BES you might not have that option. I know BES can limit a lot of things, not sure if that is one of them though.

Also, if it's a work phone, make sure it's OK with your employer that you use the phone that way. It makes no sense to get fired over improper phone usage.

All that being said, yes, if you turn on wifi, and then go to set up wifi connectons, you should be able to access the internet, and in my case, access all my BB functions as if I was on EDGE, since I have a BB data plan.

yeah it's cool with work. Searched for my router and WiFi was up and running. I'm on Bes too so it will work.

Cheers for the reply.
