Default Browser Question

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

Just got my 9800 and trying to get my head around it.

When I look in Browser Configuration I can select the following browsers to configure:

Internet Browser
Vodafone Live! WAP 2.0
Services
Hotspot Browser

Can anyone explain what they are and why I need them? Until now I've just been using the standard Internet Browser, which seems fine.

Also, is there some easy way to view the contents of the device folders as a tree structure?

Thanks for any help.

Don't bother to change anything. Leave them as they are. Keep using the standard Internet Browser. If you want better browsers, download Opera Mini or Bolt.

You can see some folders in the device and most (actually all) folders in the media card (SD card) by connecting to your desktop/laptop using the Desktop Manager (DM). BlackBerry Device will show as another drive when you connect to your computer.

Thanks for the response.

Is there some kind of folder structure view available on the device?

Only the structure of the Media Card. In the Media Application there is an Explore option on the menu that allows you to see that structure.
