Default BlackBerry Tour Wireless Reconcile

Please Login to Remove!

Hello All:

I have a user using a BlackBerry Tour (9630) with BES.

This user wants to have Wireless Reconcile option turned off on his E-mail for his BlackBerry, such that when he "opens" an e-mail on his BlackBerry it does not flag the e-mail as open in MS Outlook or OWA.

--I was able to set this up correctly.

--Main Problem:--However, the same user noticed when he forwards or reply's to e-mail with subject "XYZ" on his BlackBerry, in MS Outlook or OWA it flags the e-mail with subject "XYZ" as "Forwarded" or "Replied". The user does not want this to happen.

--Main Question:--Is there any way to fix the "Main Problem" from above, such that when the user forwards or reply's to e-mail with subject "XYZ" on his BlackBerry, in MS Outlook or OWA it does not flag the e-mail at all?

-Thanks-

--P.S.--I was not sure if this belonged in BlackBerry Tour or BES.

Think you need to bring to his attention the old proverb, to crap in one and hand and want in the other. See which fills up first.

What did you do to fix his problem of not syncing device with server? I am on BES and don't have this problem. But I am not picky and use the reconcile.

I actually did the full BES Activation with the BlackBerry Server. But after the BES Activation, I just tried to turn off Wireless Reconcile for E-mail.

And unfortunately, this user is a very high profile user, so it is kind of hard for me to just tell him he has to deal with the situation. (Part of being both IT and politically correct with a Vice President of a company.)

Yeah I figured he was, just any excuse to use that saying I can . So basically if I am understanding right he wants is to have both mailboxes seperate from eachother. He does not want what is done on one to reflect on another? I am not sure but don't think that is possible with the way it syncs up.

Thanks...I will also check a few other places, but I am pretty sure that is the case.
