I am running an 8900 with 5.0.0.348 running RIM's visual voice mail. It is a good, basic program however beside being accessible in the RIM Visual Voice Mail application, it is also in the Main Message List. My issue is I like keeping my main list clear, however I do store voice message until I can get around to addressing them. If you clear the Main Message list, the voice mails in Visual Voice mail disappear also.

Yes, I have used YouMail, and yes it is superior, however for the few voicemails I get, the RIM Visual Voice Mail is adequate except the the ability to sperate it from the Main Message list. Am I missing any setting? Unfortunately you can not excluse them list your email and SMS/MMS message in the options settings ...

No, you are not missing anything. For now, that's how it works. I hope to see it updated to allow separating the VMM messages from standard messages, but it's not working that way at this time.
