Default Random reboots w/ OS 5.0.411

Please Login to Remove!

I was wondering how often are folks having their devices randomly reboot each day on BB OS 5.x. Mine is currently rebooting 3-4 times per day with no particular usage pattern or application to tie it to. I completely wiped the device just week installing essentially no applications other than BBM. Prior to doing so my random reboots were a lot worse (almost hourly).

So, I wonder, do I have defective hardware or is everyone else also running into occasional reboots? I'm on T-Mobile, in case that matters.

Two days and no reboots, I like this OS.

I haven't been able to make it a full day yet. After my earlier post today I went ahead and wiped the device completely once again and verified by getting the 507 screen. I've reinstalled 5.0.411 with only two apps: BerryBuzz and BBM.

We'll see how it goes. I'm really curious if anyone else is dealing with regular reboots.

I haven't had any reboots, but have pulled the battery after about a week. Am I lucky?

edit: ALT+CAPS LOCK+H will get uptime in seconds. Currently, I'm at 1052432.

I'm pretty sure it's hardware. Getting it replaced.

My problem was hardware.

I received a replacement unit, wiped the OS and installed 5.0.411 and have not had a reboot in 2 days. Previously I could not go more than a few hours without a reboot.

So, moral of the story: if you've wiped your device clean and are still having it reboot randomly you probably need a new unit.
