Default Dropped calls and emails stuck on ATT

How many people are having trouble with dropped calls and emails not sending?
I am in Denver, CO on ATT.
Drops happen mostly when I am driving and talking, switch towers I can see the bars go 3-2-1-0 then 5 and the call is gone and I get the loud beeping.
Average 2-4 dropped calls per day.

Also, for some reason I am getting a lot of emails that just get stuck and I get the clock. Average 4-5 stuck emails per day. Today I had like 10.

I have tried both 3G and 2G only, EDGE seems a LITTLE better in both problems than 3G.

ATT told me to Wipe and reload my phone, so I did that tonight. Sounds VERY unlikely to fix it..

Others have these problems?

My brother has a Bold 9000 and he let me make a call from it while he drove. I called this one store for an instock issue while we were enroute and I would be talking with the clerk there when the call would drop not once but 3 times. However I have an answer for you it's called cellular call traffic every cell tower has a limit and when it's exceded even when we are just being switched from one tower to the next one the transition isn't as seemless if it's miles. I don't believe it's a phone issue as much as a carrier one struggling to meet a high demand calls and data needs of it's customer base. I do believe it'll get better with time and better tech advances but in the here and now it's not it'll have hick-ups.
