Default Garmin mobile or Telenav for GPS?

Please Login to Remove!

I tried Garmin Mobile and Telenav on my BB 9700 on T-mobile. I like both about equally. They both hit and miss in different areas. I can get Garmin for $79.99 for the life of the phone in the "Blackberry Lounge" on BB website or pay $10/ month to telenav for it's use.

Anyone else have a better one (GPS apps) or cheaper? or one I haven't tried?

I prefer TeleNav, but doing the math... Garmin does have an advantage after eight months' use and charges.

I've looked at both and used both, seems to me that TeleNav has more features.

I'm gunna buy the Garmin...yeah...I think the multiple voices and maps are better on Telenav but it's a montly charge of $10...!!

$120 a year. Garmin is only $80 for the life of that phone (on Blackberry Lounge)....and it works pretty much like the Garmin in my car....I gotta go cheap on this one.

If Telenav would only do $99 for life of phone!!

Thumbs up Telnav rocks!

I have to TelNav version 5.1 running on my BlackBerry. I have yet to have any problems with it, it gives me all the directions I need plus it speaks to me and. And I have not had to pay for it or have not heard of having to pay for it.

Telenav is better, but a bit more pricey in the long run. It has better features though.

I agree, I wish Telnav had a per use charge for some of us light users. I might use it 3 times in one month then 0 times the next. Hard to justify $10 in the month I didn't use it.

Did you begin by signing up for the 30 day trial? I just did that with the blackberry 9700.
