Default COMPLETELY Remove an Application?

Please Login to Remove!

So I have a new Bold 9780 running os6 and I installed Weathereye but cannot get it working 100%. I've tried uninstalling it a few times but I'm pretty sure it doesn't completely uninstall. When I reinstall the application either through app world, web link or .cod file through BBSAK it goes right back to the same location on my screen and has the same default city in the program. Anyone know how I can remove all traces of the program and reinstall clean to see if that's the problem?

it might be going back to the same place/city because BB APP World might have remembered the setting and the app that you have installed. I wonder if you delete it thru Desktop, will it make any difference.. Try it.

I tried deleting through DM as well with the same result. I have looked at all the files on the device using Crack Util and I can't see any remnants left behind. If I go into app world it does still show as an uninstalled app, can I clear that somehow?

the uninstalled app in App World is only a placeholder in App world and it should not have anything on your device. so nothing to delete here. The only other issue I could see is if the application registers the device on its website or system then it could possibly give you the same setting.
I still can not ans if there is any better way to clean up the BB. I have seen the thread to clean install the app (Desktop Manager) on your your PC. but that is irrelevant

Well, I would certainly not resort to this, but you could always re-install the OS -- that will get you to "fresh as a daisy" status.
