Default blackberry9700 won't turn on

Please Login to Remove!
a white screen appears with a battery with a lightning zap across it. what to do? thanks

Charge the battery.

If that doesn't work, wipe with Jl_cmdr (see the FAQ) and reload the OS (see the yellow sticky at the top of the 9700 section).

The battery itself could also be toast. Try a new one.

Also , device will turn on by itself once it has enough battery juice so let it charge first.
