Does anyone know how to change the default file name that the blackberrysaves pictures as.

I want to change it from IMG##### to something like BB######, but I can't seem to find an option to do this.

Yes, you can rename them. Go to your media icon > photos > My Pictures, select the picture you want, press the button to the left of the trackball, and select Rename.

But I don't want to have to rename each picture/photo as I take it. I would like the system to save it under a name that is unique to the blackberry like BB_IMG, so it is not confused with my regualr camera pictures when I upload it to the PC.
I realize I can rename it on the PC, but that is an extra step that I might forget, and it would be more simple if the Blackberry would just save the photos under a different name.

Any other ideas?

Well, pictures do get saved to the SD card, which looks like a drive when you connect your BB to your PC - you could probably write a batch file to do it - but you would want the batch file to live on the SD card because you never know which drive letter any next attachment will occupy.

Bummer, it seems like a simple setting, but I guess the software is not set up for that.
