Working with Blackberry Devices that do not use Socket Connections or have a MDS I have designed my applications around the browser. This is very cool but still limiting as I need some data to be read by the Application. The part I need help with is if there is some way that I can read the data packets coming into the Browser before it is rendered in the Browser or if there is some way I can create a cookie on the device and have my program read that cookie and do what it needs to do with that information. I would rather not have to write a cookie but parse the html code and pull the info I need before its displayed in the browser. Any help that anyone could provide would be great.

You could open the connection then read the data stream rather than passing it to the rendering session. This would mean you would then have to pass that data into the rendering session by spoofing the httpconnection with the data string instead.

I am interested by this subject.
I'm trying to develop a program that process data before the browser render it.
in the same way I'd like to process data before they go out to the MDS.

I'm a newbie, and I don't know where to start, which part of api I should study before developing this kind of programs.

I'm developing the application that displays html data.
The data can be retrieved from server or may be used as local copy.
For the data from server that doesnot get much time. But for local copy what to do I'm not getting.
How to display the data from local HTML file.
Can any body tell me.
browser requires httpConnection and for local file this isnot possible. I don't understand what to do?

Plz help me.

Is it possible to display sich data.?

Also , I need help with respect to processing data before displaying or rendering. Bcoz it takes time to display data. also,
Can we compress the data to fit in screen.?
