Hello

I am TOTALLY new to this, so please no jargon!

I am looking to purchase a blackberry purely to email. Therefore I am looking for a price plan that is geared towards email, with a large number in the plan.

Obviously the cheapest plan would be favoured. So any information or links you could provide would be great.

I am based in Florida.

Not really sure, I will take your advice there. I use Cingular for my cell phone, and to date find them an excellent provider.

If Cingular is working for you, then great. They have a data plan that is 49.99 ( I believe without checking) that will give you data only, no voice.

Cingular's personal unlimited BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) plan without voice is $34.99. If you have a voice plan, the unlimited data is $29.99. You should go to the Cingular store and get it from them. The Customer Service Reps will try to tell you its 44.99 or some other ridiculous number.

You have to have a BB data plan to have email and Internet access.

Oops. Knew i should have check CSP. yes..34.99 for standalone.

The 44.99 is the BES.
