hi im getting a 8300 tomorrow and was wondering how easy it is to transfer my email accounts and files from my 8700 to my curve is it as simple as putting my sim in and away i go or is it going to give me a headache

You can use the desktop manager's Switch Device Wizard to easily transfer the contents of your 8700 to the 8300. Getting your emails delivered to the new BlackBerry is simple also, all you need to do is change the PIN/IMEI on BIS. (If you're a BIS user).

Plug the old BB into the PC. Use the change device wizard. Plug new BB into the PC. Done.

Contact your carrier to activate the new BB.

Some applications will need to be reinstalled, but almost everything will transfer and work flawlessly.
