my Bold doesnt show HTML emails properly, not at all

I only get the code in text form

any ideas?

You need to enable HTML in the options: Email Settings, Enable HTML Email & Download Images Automatically settings.

I believe this can be blocked by a BES policy

Confirm delivery
confirm read
send read receipts


maybe my OS is an old one?

Try going to BlackBerry Internet Service logging in and then sending the SERVICE BOOKS back to your phone
