Question 8130 Speakerphone thru aux input

Please Login to Remove!

Way back in the 4.3 days, when I would plug my phone to my aux port on my car stereo to listen to mp3's, when i received a phone call, it would automatically activate the speakerphone & pipe the sound thru my stereo. Ever since I upgraded to the first 4.5 release, I lost that function...not that big of a deal i guess, but now I have to manually press the speakerphone button. Is anybody else experiencing that? In terms of safety while driving, if this worked, that would be one less button to press while driving.

I checked mine after reading your post, and after upgrading to 4.5 mine is doing the same thing. If a call comes thru while listening to music thru the jack, I have to push the speakerphone button to have it come thru the speakers. It used to be automatic. Another negative thing about 4.5.

K...I just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. I miss this feature, altho I will not be going back to 4.3 anytime soon. That is about the only thing that I can think of that I've lost in 4.5. I've gained too much to turn back now. I guess, I will hafta get used to hitting the speakerphone button.

Glad you posted this...noticed the same thing, and hadn't had time to check it out. Bummer, but as noted, other things in 4.5 will keep me from considering down-grading.
