Hi,
Our Chairman has reported to me that his blackberry will always be over-ruled by his GroupWise mailbox when it comes to appointments. With mails, you can select settings on which wins (handheld or GW server), but I cannot find any settings at all for Calendar, either on the handheld or the BES server.
This is a pretty shocking functionality ommision if it is not something that can be changed?
Does anyone know? Im told his business associates with Blackberrys (that probably sync with another non-GroupWise backend) are able to do this.
The issue he has is that if he changes an appointment in any way, eg. subject text, the time/date of the appt, from his HANDHELD, then the information is lost (over-ridden) because the server puts the appointment back as it was. It will only sync from GroupWise down to his handheld, not the other way.
As I say, I cannot find any settings at all relating to this which concerns me.
Anyone know if this is even possible? You would think and hope so!
