Default HTML with Rogers

I've searched and couldn't find an answer. I've even called Rogers BB support and they couldn't help. I can't seem to get HTML emails to download images on their own when I receive an email on my BB. They do not have links to external email, nor are they replies or forwards. I've checked to make sure I've enabled the option to download images automatically. I've even erased the service books and deleted the emails off of BIS, power cycled, re-added the email address still no luck. I'm running 4.6.0.282 from Rogers.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In the message, hit menu, get images (make sure it is images not image so all of them download at once).

Is that the only option? I thought with BIS 2.5 and the BOLD it should automatically download it and I wouldn't need to select Get Images.

Unless the images are embedded in-line into the message, you will always have to use the 'Get Images' option.

This has been discussed so many time in the forum its ridiculous... any HTML email that pulls images from an external source requires you to ask it to go get those images. Because it is pulling it from a server you expose many things, Your IP address, that you read the email, scrips could be run, etc. Its also a data issue, if it downloaded all the images and you get your data bill you might get an alarming data charge. if the person sending the email sends the images as imbeded objects then BIS or BES will send the entire message images and all to your BlackBerry
