Default Temporarily disable email

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

I would like to temporarily disable emails on my device. I find it interesting not to get work email all the time...
I tried going in the email options and in the email filtering setting a NO in the deliver email to handled if not filter apply, BUT if I do this (which works for stopping the email flow), then when I switch it back to YES, it does not send me my email backlog...
I'd like to find a way that disables it with the possibility of using data, e.g. to browse the web.
Thanks for your help, JF.

There is no way.
Stopping it from forwarding to handheld does not create a backlog.
Only way for it to create a backlog is to turn off data services, but as you're aware this turns off the ability to browse the web.

It's one or the other unfortunately.

If you have email by google than you can download the gmail mobile app & you can disable the incoming emails & when you want it just log in to your account & click on search mail

Wink Re: Temporarily disable email

well, I think living w/o a backlog is manageable in the week as you anyhow step in the office the very next day...
What I found out would work in the weekend, is simply have a profile where the LED is disabled when I receive an email... I found out this is what attracted me to answer :D
So I'll do that. but in case anyone has a suggestion, I am looking forward to reading it...
