Default 9860 transferring phone book by bluetooth?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Nissan Murano that has bluetooth. In the phone book settings it gives me the option of adding up to 40 numbers into my car, but also gives me the option to transfer by bluetooth. Nissan says I have to check with the manufacture of the device to find out how to transfer the data over bluetooth.

So my question is, is this possible with blackberry's and how do I go about doing it on my device?

I have an 9860.

Thanks
Andrew

The process differs for each vehicle. Even different models within a car company like Nissan can have different procedures. You'll have to pair the BB with your car's bluetooth, but after that it's up to Nissan.

The device is paired with Nissan. I called Nissan Canada today and they told me "the transfer of your cell phones phonebook over bluetooth is something that your device manufacture has in their owners manual, we can't help you with that.." and they told me it also says that in all their owners manuals if you read it carefully.

So that's why I am asking here...

I can go copy down exactly what the manual says for my Murano later if you'd like?

A.
