My phone works normally for about a couple hours, but after those hours when my phone locks the space for typing the password is always filling with "f". I dont know whats wrong, i've had the phone for about 2 years now

Was it recently dropped or did it get wet (or even damp)?

I'm sure I haven't gotten it wet, and I did drop it, but nothing too serious I think, mainly slips from waist level onto carpet and i also have a very nice case. Also, I think it vibrates once before doing this

Any drop can damage a device.

Thanks for all the help and suggestions, but i figured it out, it was an application call profile switcher, and i guess for some reason if you have a password lock on, the app will decide to mess with it
