I just came across this thread searching for a resolution to a similar problem. I have an 8830 from Verizon and when I send an email to
, the recipient gets several lines of text that have "bis.blackberry.net" in it and then my message. Its not a real email/ sms address (looks like part of the header) and the message fails if they try to respond to it. If I send an email to the vtext.com address from my desktop or webmail, its fine. I've even sent messages to my vtext.com address and had the same issue. If I didn't know better, I would think their making me use sms to increase revenue. I realize I could just create a simple web page to send email my php and sendmail and view it from the blackberry browser but that presents another problem if when I reply to their response. Any suggestions to overcome this issue would be most appreciated.
Thanks!
