Can I access the normal Location class, regardless of whether or not I'm reading from a bluetooth GPS reciever or an onboard one?

With 4.2 you should be able to select the Bluetooth GPS on the page Options -> Advanced Options -> GPS

You must, of course, pair the Blackberry with the GPS first.

Will it be available via Location though? What I'm trying to figure out is if I need to write two different applications: one for blackberries with internal gps, and another for external gps.

It should be available through location API, though I know of some 8700r units that this doesn't work on. It does on 8800's though.
