os 4.5 wont playback video

hi i recently upgraded to 4.5.0.52 i recorded a video it recorded and then when i tried to playback the video nothing happened i have then tried re-installing the os but still nothing. also the only way to exit is pressing the hang up button because return key does nothing.
Can anybody help?
